7Market

So I went to “7 Market” the other day with hubby ‘cause we heard it was good.
When we first walked in, we couldn’t help but notice the pretty cool atmosphere.. It was located in KIPCO tower 4th floor. The area was open, lights were dim, and the music was loud..

There was this tiny issue that bothered both of us which was the overwhelming smell of food EVERYWHERE!

Anyways, I saw a couple of interesting booths that I would like to share with you guys. One of them I'm sure u heard of before which is

“Umami Edamame”

It’s interesting how almost all the food selection they had was healthy “delicious kind of healthy”. I really liked the fact that they had different type of toppings for their Edamame. I tried the Lebna and the Spicy Crispy toppings they were pretty good. They also have new items on their menu.. One of them was the Quinoa salad, didn’t try it yet to be honest but it seemed appealing to me.

The Second table that caught my attention was “Books&More” I just stood there staring at the huge range of captivating books I have almost never seen in Kuwait. The owner “Ruqaya Al-Mehri” was kind enough to spare me a couple of minz out of her busy time to talk briefly about her business.

I was admired by her need to feed younger brains with high quality books. Her books were, to me atleast, the crème de la crème of all books. The interesting part was she had both her niece and nephew help her through choosing the books that are popular among the new generation. Her books serve people from the age of 5 to the age of 35-40.

If you are a book lover, you will totally weep over the collection she has. Check out some of her collection on this link "http://instagram.com/p/mfxu9mwVAp/"

Elie Tahari

Today at the ELIE TAHARI's opening in 360 Mall "Kuwait".

The shop reminded me so much of Karen Millen's, clothes wise and interior design as well. I like Karen Millen, so its not that big of a deal. The best part was finding an amazing hot-pink summer dress AND BUYING IT!! "NYAHAHA".
Anyways, I'll leave you guys to see the pictures.

VICTORIA’S SECRET BEAUTY & ACCESSORIES STORE OPENS AT AL FANAR MAL

Victoria’s Secret, the ultimate destination for fragrance and style made famous on the catwalk by supermodels, opened in Kuwait at Al Fanar Mall, the city’s popular shopping destination.

 The main entrance

My VS Bag

Of course we all know that Victoria's Secret is the largest American retailer of lingerie. They literally have the best womenswear and beauty products. Nonetheless, Al-Fanar branch is unique because it offers customers access to an assortment of best-selling Victoria's Secret beauty products including prestige fragrances, such as the newest launch VS Glamour, VS Night, and the iconic Victoria’s Secret Bombshell, in addition to the popular scented skin-loving VS Fantasies body care range.

Victoria’s Secret’s unique collection of accessories are exclusive to the Beauty & Accessories concept stores worldwide and are perfect for those looking for gifts or something for themselves!  For that glam girl on the go, expect to find a wide range of bags, luggage and small leather goods, cosmetic bags, sunglasses and key fobs.
This new store follows the successful launch of the brand in Dubai and Qatar in 2010 and more recently in Bahrain, Lebanon and Sharjah in 2012.

The designs of Victoria’s Secret locations in the Middle East are contemporary and glamorous. The façades take a modern approach with dynamic storefronts. The store interiors feature sophisticated elements such as black cherry fixtures, lit focal walls, a gallery of iconic black and white imagery, and a video wall featuring Victoria’s Secret supermodel video footage, showcasing products in an environment that’s playful and forever young.

My dear friend Farah Al-Qaderi (Event Manager) gave me a tour today around the shop and particularized why she came all the way from Dubai to be a leading part of this branch’s opening in Kuwait.

One of Farah’s favorite items was the cologne case “Any girl can use it for different purposes once she’s done from the perfumes. It can be used as a makeup kit, nail care items, every day face and body products, and a pencil case” she said.
She also showed me their line of breathtaking passport covers that go with the traveling luggage. They come in different colors and sizes “Pink, Black, Leopard”.

Faisal Al-Ali

This dude is not only a creative interior designer, but also an “Arabic Pop Art” fan. He’s a pure Kuwaiti hipster. Faisal uses graphic design and old Kuwaiti songs, plays, and quotes to create his artwork. Although he had a tiny space to display his work, the pieces totally spoke for themselves.

Nasser Bourislee owner of Tshirt Store and Sarah Al-Yagout owner of Cube of life shared a booth. They both had different segments but shared the same concept; uniqueness of design and color.

Sarah from Cube Of Life guided me around the booth and explained all about her business, she sells amazing home decorative items as well as organic food.

While Nasser from Tshirt Store told me all about the crazy tops he sells and elaborated on the excellence of fabric his shirts are made of that individualizes his work.

I VINTAGE

“I VINTAGE” is one of my favorite sunglasses stores in Kuwait. Why? Because I personally prefer wearing strange and exceptional looking shades and they have what I need.
They have a decent variety of sunspecs; each and every one stands out in a matchless different way than the other.
