Qout Market

Faisal Al-Ali

This dude is not only a creative interior designer, but also an “Arabic Pop Art” fan. He’s a pure Kuwaiti hipster. Faisal uses graphic design and old Kuwaiti songs, plays, and quotes to create his artwork. Although he had a tiny space to display his work, the pieces totally spoke for themselves.

Tshirt Store & Cube of life

Nasser Bourislee owner of Tshirt Store and Sarah Al-Yagout owner of Cube of life shared a booth. They both had different segments but shared the same concept; uniqueness of design and color.

Sarah from Cube Of Life guided me around the booth and explained all about her business, she sells amazing home decorative items as well as organic food.

While Nasser from Tshirt Store told me all about the crazy tops he sells and elaborated on the excellence of fabric his shirts are made of that individualizes his work.

I VINTAGE

“I VINTAGE” is one of my favorite sunglasses stores in Kuwait. Why? Because I personally prefer wearing strange and exceptional looking shades and they have what I need.
They have a decent variety of sunspecs; each and every one stands out in a matchless different way than the other.

PRINTS BY REEM

The second best product “IN MY POINT OF VIEW” was PRINTS BY REEM.
This girl has a self-designed line of recycled notepads. I loved them for two reasons; first they’re recycled. Second, the designs are all Kuwait related.
She also sells white colored paperweights in Arabic letters, recycled as well.

Check them out on instagram @printsbyreem.

CLICK AND GROW

The best product “IN MY POINT OF VIEW” at Qout Market today was the CLICK AND GROW.
What is CLICK AND GROW?
It’s a smart garden you can grow in your homes; all you need is a couple of batteries and some water.
Why is it unique?
Because you can grow your own basil, tomato, and other greens at your place and have healthy organic items to add on your daily diet.

ORGANIC

QOUT MARKET

By this time, I guess everyone in Kuwait knows what Qout Market is. But for those who don’t here’s what it is: Qout Market is essentially a farmers market held on the first Saturday of every month. It’s located on the sixth floor of Al-Rayya tower.

As you all know today was Qout market, it was super crowded although I went at 11:00am. Anyways, the place was bursting with booths that sell all kind of foods “Pastries, Jam, Cheese… etc”. in the middle of those booths I found a couple of good businesses that caught my attention. I will briefly describe each below it’s picture in my next posts.
